Resident Evil: Origins Collection (known in Japan as BioHazard: Origins Collection) is a compilation video game of the horror video game genre available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch systems. On the same disc it includes the Resident Evil (remake) and Resident Evil Zero games adapted in high definition with a maximum resolution of 1080p, graphic improvements, and with the addition of unpublished novelties such as additional game modes, costumes and control improvements. This compilation was released in North America on January 19, 2016; in Japan on January 21, 2016; and in Europe on January 22, 2016.
The games included in the compilation have been named Resident Evil HD Remaster and Resident Evil 0 HD Remaster, and can be purchased separately from the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live download systems.
